in matthew 7:1 it says "do not judge or you to will be judged." if alot of people have read that than why dont they obey it? i mean i myself, i havent judged a person by their looks (outsides) in a long time because after i read that peice in the bible it really made me think. i dont understand why people judge others. i know people say its because they other person is jelous but i mean is that really true? hit me back. plz? -lisa

People judge others for a majority of reasons. the largest of those in my opinion is because many times they are very insecure people themselves and as a reault they love to hurt others by judging them or making them feel bad in order to make themselves feel better. They at times may do it on purpose or not even realize they are doing it. Thier is a good saying "Hurt people, Hurt People". Just remember don't take it personally just see it as an opportunity for ministry!!!!!!!!!!
how can a person not know if they're judgeing another person? why would someone wanna hurt someone else? i mean, you see murderers and all they do is go out and kill people but yea i admit being judge isnt as bad as being judged but still you get my point right? and i totally agree with that quote "hurt people hurt people" and yea thats true, look at me last year. before i became a christian i made fun of people because i was hurt. and its come to my attention now that i did that. and i've apoligized to most of the people that i hurt, they said they've seen a great importvement of work in me. that means alot to me coming from the people that i hurt. thats crazy! but me personally i hurt people cause i was hurt but thats not the reason why alot of people especially at my school make fun of people. some do it because they want to be popular, which is bogus! how can someone hurt someone else? to be popular? to be cool? to be funny? to be mean? like you said, there are a number of reasons why people judge other people. i guess the world may never know EXZACTLY why people judge other people. its just like those old commercials said, "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?" the world may never know! and its crazy that i actually think about this though because i dont think about these sort of things! lol! :D its a good feeling though. thinking about things like this! thanks Pastor J! :D you helped! :) luv ya lots,
